APITA to host multi-sector mega job mela

 Ongole: The Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Academy (APITA) in coordination with the Look for Employees in Andhra Pradesh (LEAP) and cooperation of QIS Engineering Colleges in Ongole will be conducting a multi-sector mega job mela on Tuesday.

The QIS educational institutions secretary and correspondent, Nidamanuri Surya Kalyan Chakravarthy and their chairman Nidamanuri Nageswara Rao announced that the APITA will be conducting district-level job mela with an aim to offer jobs to 10,000 candidates this year and will conduct the same in QIS for Prakasam district. 

They said that about 100 multinational core, IT and banking companies will participate in the job mela on May 29. 

The candidates who completed their engineering, degree or PG courses in 2016, 2017 or 2018 are eligible to participate in the job mela. 

The organisers announced that the successful candidates may be offered salaries ranging from Rs 1 lakh to 9 lakh per annum depending on the company and job profile. 

The interested candidates are asked to register for the job mela on the website www.apita.ap.gov.in or do spot registration on May 29 at venue, announced the coordinators of the job mela and principals of QIS Engineering colleges Dr Kilari Veeraswamy, Dr CV Subbarao and placement officer Ch Swamy.
