Ex-MLA, former IPS join YSRCP

Akiveedu: A former MLA and a former IPS officer joined YSRCP in the presence of the party president, YS Jaganmohan Reddy during his marathon walk Praja Sankalpa Yatra in West Godavari district on Sunday.

His marathon walk reached Bhimavaram Assembly constituency and the opposition leader entered Jakkaram village in Kalla mandal.
   
Cherukuwada Sriranganatha Raju, rice miller and former MLA joined YSRCP in the presence of  Jagan at Jakkaram.

The YSRCP president invited him and welcomed him into the party by honouring him with a shawl.  Raju recently resigned to TDP.  

Along with him, a retired IPS officer, Lakshmi Reddy also joined the party at Jakkaram village. Jagan invited Lakshmi Reddy into the party. 

Speaking on the occasion, Reddy said that Jagan would develop the state and fulfil the aspirations of the people in the state.

Speaking on the occasion, YS Jagan said that he had invited Ranganatha Raju and Lakshmi Reddy into the party. 

“With the inclusion of Ranganatha Raju, the party in West Godavari would further strengthen. 

The district people know about Ranganatha Raju more than me. We will treat him as a family member of YSRCP. 

I welcome the leaders and persons who want to serve the people into the YSRCP,” he stated.
