Infosys selects 5 candidates from SACET

Chirala: The Infosys has conducted the recruitment drive for selection of software engineers and selected five candidates from the St Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology, announced the college secretary, Vanama Ramakrishnarao and correspondent S Lakshmanarao, in a statement.

The college principal Dr P Ravikumar said that the Infosys conducted off campus drive at Andhra Loyola Engineering College in Vijayawada and Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology in Guntur in association with the Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Academy (APITA). 

In the campus drive, Infosys selected six candidates from Prakasam district in which five are from SACET, said the principal.

He appreciated the students-- P Meghana from CSE, T Venkatadri Nayudu from EEE, Ch Bhanusri, Soudagar Alia and P Satyasrivasavi from ECE-- and announced that they will be paid Rs 3.25 lakh per annum as salary along with other allowances.

The HoDs of CSE Dr P Harini, ECE Dr K Jagadeesh Babu, EEE Dr A Purnachandra Rao and their teaching and non-teaching staff appreciated the students for being elected for Infosys.
