PM Modi failed on all fronts: Congress
Tirupati: The country’s progress retrograded in the four-year rule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has failed on all fronts, said former union Minister and senior Congress leader Dr Chinta Mohan.
He was speaking at a protest meeting held here on Saturday by District Congress Committee (DCC) to express its resentment on Modi government on the occasion of completing its four-year rule.
Making a scathing attack on Modi government, Mohan said every section—farmers, agriculture labourers, unemployed youth and women—were affected in his four-year rule while the blunders like demonetisation wrecked the country’s economy and also left the banking sector in shambles.
Criticising YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy absenting from the secular party leaders meeting on the occasion of swearing-in of HD Kumaraswamy as Chief Minister in Bengaluru, the Congress leader said it clearly indicates that YSRCP chief turned a stooge of BJP working against secularism.
Portending the secular forces coming together in the coming days to defeat Modi, he exuded confidence that his party will bounce back in to power in 2019 election.
PCC secretary N Srinivasulu said that it is rather imperative on the part of secular democratic forces join together to end the demonic rule of Narendra Modi. In the same breath, he said that in Andhra Pradesh his party will have no truck with both TDP and YSRCP and will fight along with other parities against BJP and also TDP and YSRCP.
Earlier, the party activists, holding placards and raising slogans against Modi government went in a rally from Gandhi statue to Ambedkar statue where it culminated in meeting.
