Former Supreme Court judge lambasted

Vijayawada: Minister for Information and Public Relations Kalva Srinivasulu lambasted former Supreme Court judge Eswaraiah for levelling baseless allegations against Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

He said in a statement here on Sunday that the Chief Minister has been leading value-based politics for the past four decades in the state. “By making such comments against the Chief Minister, Eswaraiah degraded himself,” he averred.

The minister pooh-poohed the statement of the former judge who said that the Chief Minister was influencing the judiciary at higher levels. He recalled that there have been no cases pending against the Chief Minister in the Supreme Court and everyone knew the secret forces that were behind Eswaraiah for making such comments.

“It is sad that he became a pawn in the hands of the BJP and the YSR Congress,” he added. The minister said that Eswaraiah should recall how Sakshi newspaper had levelled allegations against his family members when they were members of the TDP.
