Gutka worth 90,000 seized in Guntur 

Guntur: The Guntur urban special branch police took one person into their custody and seized 12 bags of banned gutka worth Rs 90,000 from him on Sunday.

According to Nallapadu Sub-Inspector Srinivasa Rao, the special branch police took Mutyala Mahesh while he was transporting banned gutka on his Activa vehicle at Budamadu under Nallapadu police station limits.

The accused was lifting gutka stock from a tipper and was keeping it on Activa for distribution to the retailers when police nabbed. Nallapadu police registered a case and took up investigation.
