Intensify night patrolling, says Superintendent of Police M Ravi Prakash

Eluru: West Godavari District Superintendent of Police M Ravi Prakash directed the officials to intensify the night patrolling in the district to control crimes.

He conducted a review meeting on crime in the district at the district police office here on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, the Superintendent of Police said that the police personnel should monitor the movement of criminals in all the police station limits. He also directed to monitor the Locked House Monitoring System (LHMS) regularly. 

He asked the police to respond immediately to the calls received to 100 Control Room number.  He also directed them to be vigilant to control the human trafficking. 

He said that in of late, some WhatsApp and other social media messages highlighted fake news stating that some children kidnapping gang is on the prowl in the state. 

The police personnel should create awareness among the people about the criminal gangs.  He warned that attacks on innocent would not be tolerated and  if they found suspicious of unknown persons, they should inform the police immediately and not to attack those suspects.  

DSPs K Eswara Rao, Ch Muralikrishna, S Venkateswara Rao, Pydeswara Rao, Nunna Muralikrishna, T Satyanarayana, M Srinivasa Rao,  A Srinivasa Rao, SB CI Ch Konala Rao and others were present at the meeting.
