Jagan vows to shift aqua food park

Bhimavaram: YSRCP president and Opposition leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy said that TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu, who backstabbed former Chief Minister N T Rama Rao, is now conducting Mahanadu and paying tributes to NTR. 

Addressing a public meeting at Old Bus Stand centre in Bhimavaram as part of his Praja Sankalpa yatra, Jagan said Naidu had snatched NTR’s trust, house and party and now, conducting NTR’s birth anniversary celebrations shamelessly.” In Mahanadu, the YSRCP chief said Naidu says that injustice was done to Andhra Pradesh.

On the contrary, in Telangana Mahanadu, he claims that Telangana state dream became true with his efforts. Again, when he comes to Andhra Pradesh, starts shedding crocodile tears over injustice done to the state, Jagan lamented. In Bhimavaram town, the Opposition leader alleged the TDP government had taken back the house site pattas sanctioned by the YSR government.

He said the poor people have to pay Rs 3,000 per month over 20 years for the flat taken for Rs 3.50 lakh. After coming to power, YSRCP government will waive off the Rs 3.50 lakh amount sanctioned to flats. The YSRCP government won’t leave Naidu who indulged in corruption, he warned.

Jagan came down heavily on the TDP government for registering criminal cases against villagers of Tundurru and other villages, who opposed construction of Aqua Food park from Tundurru to sea coast. He assured that if the YSRCP government comes to power, he relocates the aqua food park to seashore.

To construct a compost yard, 10 acres of land acquired in the town and even years passed, nothing was constructed, he alleged. Even there is plenty of water in Bhimavaram, the people are facing acute drinking water problem, he added.
