Kandukuri remembered

Mandapeta: Rich tributes were paid to social reformer Kandukuri Veeresalingam Pantulu on his death anniversary.
 
Speaking at a programme organised at Congress office here on Sunday, APCC official spokes person  Kamana Prabhakara Rao said that Veeresalingam fought against social evils, child marriages and encouraged widow marriages. 

He stood as inspiration for many to fight against social evils, the Congress leader added.

A large number of locals participated in the programme.
