Vijayawada: Pooh poohing the criticism of BJP President Amit Shah, Minister for Finance Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said that the state government submitted all the Utilisation Certificates to Central government.

Blaming the Central government for not releasing funds after the TDP came out from NDA alliance, the Finance Minister said that the Central government did not give even single rupee to state.

Speaking to journalists here at Mahanadu venue, the minister said that despite submitting all the UCs to the Central government, the BJP president Amit Shah was making baseless charges on state government. There was no truth in Amit Shah’s claims, he maintained. Ramakrishnudu further added that the AP was the third state in the country which submitted the UCs to Central government.

Reacting on the non-cooperative attitude of the Central government, he said that the BJP leaders were stopping the funds wilfully to push the state into further problems.

The Central government and BJP leaders were trying to show UCs as a reason to stop the fund flow to AP, which was unethical. Without submitting the UCs, the Central government would not release funds and hence the state government was submitting all the UCs as and when the works were completed.

He questioned Amit Shah whether he knows or not about the procedure of submitting UCs.  He suggested him to know before making any comments on it.

On the other hand, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu also questioned that on what authority Amit Shah was asking about UCs? He said that Amit Shah did not have any right to ask it.
