Beach to be developed to attract tourists

Kakinada: The development of Kakinada beach has been taken up under Swadesh Darshan programme to promote tourism in a big way. 

As part of this initiative, provision of amentias such as laser show, conference hall, shopping complex, water fountains, roads and other amenities are being provided. 

A sum of Rs 45.88 crore has been earmarked for the provision of amenities to attract tourists on large scale.

In addition to this, the development of Hope Island, Koringa Mangroves, Pasarlapudi, Adurru (Buddhist culture area), Surasena Yanam areas are also being developed with  Rs 70 crore for over all development and promotion of tourism in the district in particular and AP in general.
