Chandrababu Naidu vows to continue developmental projects

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said the development of the State will continue in spite of the hurdles being created by Opposition YSRCP. 

Alleging that the YSRCP was creating many hurdles for development of the state, he listed out the attempts made by the principal opposition party to block the developmental activities during the last four years. 

Naidu addressed the TDP workers on the third and concluding day of Mahanadu here on Tuesday. He alleged that the YSRCP had created hurdles during the land pooling for the capital city, instigated violence in Tuni, tried to block Polavaram project works and created hurdles to setting up aqua food parks in West Godavari district.

Chandrababu Naidu supported the resolution ‘Hurdles created by the Opposition parties’ which was introduced by SC Corporation chairman Jupudi Prabhakar. He narrated how the YSRCP created hurdles for the land pooling in the capital region.  

Naidu reiterated that the TDP government had chosen Swiss Challenge method for construction of capital Amaravati and the YSRCP was finding fault with it. 

He said the first ever Greenfield Airport Bhogapuram would be completed and the air passenger traffic would be increased to four million in the State.  Naidu made it clear that Amaravati capital would be constructed at any cost. 

He flayed the opposition for demanding jobs in the State while creating hurdles to the development projects. The Chief Minister wondered how jobs can be created without development.

Prakasam district TDP leader Desireddy Narayana also supported the resolution and explained the achievements of the TDP and collusive politics of the YSRCP with the BJP.  The TDP Mahanadu passed resolutions to transform Andhra Pradesh as a knowledge hub and provide health security to the people.

The other resolutions passed include ‘Better governance', 'Prevention of corruption', 'Use of modern technology for the delivery of services', 'Policies of the Central government', 'Banking sector', 'GST', 'Demonetisation' and 'Impact on the common people.' 

Resolutions were also passed on ‘Unilateral policies of the Central government’, ‘Financial condition of the states’, ‘Proposals of the 15th Finance Commission and ‘Declining relations between the states and central government.’ 

The Chief Minister spoke on various subjects and tried to explain to the party functionaries the efforts of the TDP government to develop the State and hurdles created by Opposition parties.
