Jakka Venkaiah’s funeral held with state honours

Nellore: Veteran CPM leader Jakka Venkaiah’s funerals were conducted at Bodegadithota located on the banks of River Penna in the city on Wednesday with state honours.  

Municipal Administration Minister P Narayana, Former Union Minister Panabaka Lakshmi, CPM leaders BV Raghavulu, P Madhu and other political leaders paid rich tributes to the former legislator JakkaVenkaiah. NUDA Chairman K Srinivasulu Reddy, Former legislators A Prabhakar Reddy, M Sridhar Krishna Reddy and others attended the funeral.
