Merchant navy employee dies in mishap 

Srikakulam: An employee of merchant navy died in a road mishap in front of APSRTC Complex in Palasa town on Wednesday. According to Palasa town police, the deceased was identified as Markandeya Kiran Kumar (32) of Uday apuram village in Palasa mandal.

While he was going to Badagam village in Nadigam mandal from Uday apuram village on his bike, he accidentally lost control over his bike and fell into the drain. He succumbed to head injury on the spot. On receiving information, police rushed to the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.
