YSRCP to hold Vanchana Vyatireka Deeksha June 2
Amaravati: YSR Congress Party will hold Vanchana Vyatireka Deeksha in Nellore on June 2 in protest against the Centre for denying Special Category Status (SCS) to the state.
Senior leaders including MPs, MLAs and MLCs will take part in day long hunger strike to be staged at VRC grounds in Nellore from 9 am to 5 pm. Five YSRCP MPs who quit Lok Sabha along with MLAs, MLCs and senior party leaders would participate in the protest sporting black badges and black attire.
Party's regional coordinators, district presidents, coordinators of Assembly and Parliamentary constituencies along with cadre will also join the protest. It may be recalled the state government has planned Nava Neermana Deeksha meetings across the state to mark the AP Reorganisation Day on Saturday.
