Korada foundation hosts Iftar party
Vijayawada: Korada Foundation organised Iftar party for fasting Muslims at Kabela centre mosque here on Friday.
The foundation manager, Pradeep said that the foundation was organising Iftar party for the Muslim bothers who were on the Holy Ramzan fast.
He said that for the past 5 days, they had been organising Iftar party at various Muslim gathering places, he said and added that they organised Iftar party at Imdad Ghar on Thursday.
He said that former corporater and floor leader Korada Vijaya Kumar was the founder of Korada Foundation. As part of various activities taken up by the foundation, they were supplying mineral water at 10 busy junctions in the city.
He said that they were supplying mineral butter milk at Old and New Government General Hospitals.
The foundation has given employment to about 15 unemployed youth for mineral water supply. Books, uniform, bags, sports T-shirts and shorts would be distributed in 50 various schools in the city after the schools reopen, he informed.
