YSRCP stir against TDP, BJP

Nellore: YSRCP Regional Coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy has informed that the party is organising Vanchanapai Garjana (Roar against betrayal) Deeksha here on June 2.

He, along with the former Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, interacted with the media at the party office on Thursday. Sajjala said that they had conducted Vanchanapai Garjana Deeksha on April 30 in Visakhapatnam against the deceitful rule of the TDP and BJP.

He explained that they are going to organise Garjana with the same spirit on June 2 at VR College Grounds in the city. He also said the BJP had betrayed people of AP by denying Special Category Status (SCS). He said that the legislators across the state and senior leaders from the YSRCP would participate in the Deeksha.

Botsa has stated that the common man in the country has been facing severe troubles with the hike in petrol and diesel prices. This is one example for the negligent rule of the Central government, he added. He also said that YS Rajasekhara Reddy had reduced prices of petrol and diesel during his regime in the state even though the Central government had hiked the prices.

He demanded the Central government to reduce the petrol and diesel prices immediately. Former Minister explained that Vanchanapai Garjana Deeksha starts at 9 am and concludes at 5 pm and appealed to the senior leaders, party workers, and youth members to make the event a successful one.

YSRCP District Convener and Sarvepalli MLA Kakani Govardhan Reddy, Kavali MLA R Prathap Kumar Reddy, Sullurpeta MLA K Sanjeevaiah, Former legislator Nallapureddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy and others were present.
