Nellore: YSRCP MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy has informed that they will be having no political tie-up with the BJP in the State. He, along with party Regional coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, speaking to the media here on Friday said the party is not ready to forge an alliance with any party in the coming elections, denying possibilities of tie-up with the BJP.

“BJP has no base in the State and how one can expect that the YSRCP will be having political alliance in the coming elections,” he asked. The MP slammed the TD leaders for unleashing false propaganda to mislead the people. “Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is spreading gobbles campaign for creating confusion among the public,” he criticised.

Mekapati stated people are very clear about who have been demanding the SCS to the state and after four years the Chief Minister had changed his stance and demanding the same. Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that the Chief Minister has been trying to bluff the people with false information, who had taken U-turn on the SCS based on the public opinion.

He said the YSRCP made its stance clear of no political alliance with the saffron party, but the TD has been spreading false lies among people of poll pact of YSRCP with the BJP. He declared that the YSRCP may have tie-up with the Left parties. He said they are still feeling main rival in the state are TD and BJP.

Further, YSRCP leaders denied on speculations that TDP leader Anam Ramanarayana Reddy is joining the YSRCP. “We don’t have any such information officially that he is shifting his loyalties. We can say any one can come into the party at any time of elections,” said Mekapati
Rajamohan Reddy.

Rumours are doing rounds in the city that YSRCP leader Botsa Satyanarayana, who attended a party programme in city on Thursday, met Anam Ramanarayana and spoke with him for over 90 minutes. But, YSRCP leaders kept mum on the developments.
