Officials gearing up for Navanirmana Deeksha

Visakhapatnam: Collector Pravin Kumar directed the employees and officials to upload the activities taken up under Navanirmana Deeksha every day. The Navanirmana Deeksha will begin from Saturday across 925 villages in the district. The Collector deputed one special officer to every village to monitor and supervise the Navanirmana Deeksha programmes.

Reviewing the arrangements for the Navanirmana Deeksha, during a video-conference on Friday, the Collector directed the officials to upload the photographs of the activities and information of Navanirmana Deeksha through an app.

The Collector directed the officials to endorse the responsibilities of uploading  the day to day programmes to the panchayat secretaries concerned. If necessary, the special officers should recruit one technical person to upload the activities, the Collector added. The inauguration of the Navanirmana Deeksha by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at Vijayawada would be telecast through LED screens at every village. 

The officials involve the local people’s representatives and people at the inaugural programme. The programmes should be conducted from June 3 to 8 from 2 pm to 6 pm every day. During the Navanirmana Deeksha programmes, the official teams should visit every ward and should also conduct a public meeting in the villages.

The officials should give more time to people to air their voice in the meetings. The programmes should be completed followed by cultural programmes, the Collector instructed the officials.
