Srikakulam: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is committed to development of the state, said District In-Charge Minister P Satyannarayana, Minister for Energy K Kala Venkata Rao and Minister for Transport K Atchannaidu.Speaking at the Navanirmana Deeksha here on Saturday, they lamented both the Congress and BJP governments for the division of state.

The state was divided against the will of the people and now the BJP government was neglecting development of the state, they alleged.
 
The Chief Minister was striving for the development of the though the Central government was not cooperating with the state, they reminded. 

Navanirmana Deeksha programmes are being conducted from district to village level till June 8 to redress the grievances of the people, they said. 

The state government provided pensions, waived loans, completing projects, laying roads and providing jobs but main opposition in the state is not playing a constructive role and creating hurdles for the development, they alleged. 

Zilla Parishad Chairperson Ch Dhanalaxmi, MLA G Laxmidevi, TDP district president G Sirisha,  Collector K Dhanunjaya Reddy, Joint Collector KVN Chakradhara Babu and Additional Joint Collector P Rajanikantha Rao also explained about various development activities taken up by the government for the past four years.
