‘The Day I Started Flying’ book released

Vijayawada: A book titled ‘The Day I Started Flying’, authored by Nikhila Chalamalasetty, was released here on Sunday. 

Veteran journalist Turlapati Kutumba Rao participated as a chief guest at the book launch function. 

Speaking on the occasion, Kutumba Rao said that the author of the book would be an inspiration to many upcoming writers. 

He said that she was a genius and had a bright future as a writer. He said that many people feel that disability was the end of everything. He recalled many writers who were blind and excelled as writers.

Dr Ch Prasad Babu (father) informed that after her graduation, she was inclined towards blogging. Through her blog, she had written about 100 articles and inspired many people.

“With the inspiration of author Nikhil Chandwani, she penned ‘The Day I Started Flying’. She took less than two months to write and complete the printing of the book. 

He said that this book will be an inspiration to many people who feel disability is a big drawback in life,” he added.

Author Nikhila thanked her parents and brother for extending the most significant support. 

She explained on how she penned about boosting confidence regardless of people doubting her ability and how she overcome all the barriers of inhibitions and fear.
