CME on Cardiovascular Diseases Organised

Kakinada: A continuous medical education (CME) programme was organised at Hotel Jaya Residency in Kakinada on Sunday night.
Senior physician RS Jawahar participating in the CME, said that cardiovascular diseases had now become the leading cause of mortality in India.
He also pointed out that hypertension was also one of the key modifiable in addressing cardiovascular diseases.
The CME was aimed at discussing and defining typical at risk in the light of recent evidences.
Dr Jawahar also explained about the latest advances in the treatment of heart ailments and the needed precautions in treating the cardiovascular diseases.
Physicians from different parts of the East Godavari attended the CME.
