Less than 50 pc attend Civils Prelims exam
Tirupati: UPSC Civil Services Preliminary examinations went off peacefully on Sunday. The examinations were held at 13 centres in Tirupati and the District officials have made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of examinations.
Examination was held in two sessions - paper-I was held in the morning session and 45.02 per cent candidates have attended. For paper –II in the afternoon 44.86 per cent were present. No incidents of late comers were reported.
APPSC observer Siddarth Jain visited various examination centres and congratulated the district officials for making proper arrangements. District Collector PS Pradyumna, Joint Collector PS Girisha, Corporation Commissioner Vijayarama Raju and others also visited examination centres.
