Woman burnt alive in Muthukur

Nellore: A 40-year-old woman was burnt alive when fire broke out at a thatched house in Indiramma Colony in Muthukur mandal reportedly due to electrical short circuit, late on Sunday night. The deceased was identified as U Radhamma.

According to sources, Radhamma, along with her mother-in-law, was residing in a thatched house. A widow, she had been working as a daily wage labourer in a private company. The mother-in-law was not in the house at the time of mishap.

There were suspicions on possible role of her paramour as she had been maintaining an marital affair with a local person.
