AP Medtech Zone wins ACCE-2018 global award

Visakhapatnam: AP Medtech zone won American College of Clinical Engineering(ACCE)-2018 international award. In collaboration with the Healthcare Technology Foundation, the ACCE conferred the “International Organization Award” on AP Medtech Zone (AMTZ) during the 28th ACCE annual meeting held on June 2 at California. Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of AMTZ Dr Jitendra Sharma received the award.

The ACCE is an internationally recognised professional society for clinical engineers with membership across the globe. ACCE was founded in 1990 and established with a special focus on promoting the profession of clinical engineering in the international arena. ACCE–HTF International Organization Award is given to an organisation outside the United States and Canada that has demonstrated significant improvements in Clinical Engineering and AP Med Tech Zone is the first Indian organisation to have been nominated ever for the award.

AMTZ has been making rapid progress by creating an innovative industrial park for manufacturing of medical devices with a holistic ecosystem for promotion of the medical technology products in India. The initiative of AMTZ is applauded by the industry in India and medical technology experts all over the world.
