Boy dies of snake bite

Atmakur: Narasimha (12) of Mustapalli died of snake bite on Sunday evening. Relatives of the boy took him to Government Cluster Hospital in Atmakur for treatment. The duty doctor wasn’t available to treat the boy. The boy died after 45 minutes of admitting him to the hospital.

The relatives blamed unavailability of doctor for his death. They say nurse called the doctor and explained him the condition of the boy. They said that the doctor had reached the hospital under the influence of alcohol and misbehaved and abused those who brought the victim.
