Monsoon moves into more parts of Seema, coastal AP
Hyderabad: The Southwest Monsoon advanced into some parts of Rayalaseema and coastal Andhra Pradesh on Monday. The Met department bulletin said conditions were becoming favorable for further advance of the monsoon into remaining parts of Rayalaseema, some parts of coastal Andhra and the central Bay of Bengal during the next two days.
Conditions are very likely to become favorable for further advance of the monsoon into some more parts of coastal AP in the next two-three days, as the north-south trough runs from the cyclonic circulation over southwest UP to the west-central Bay off the south AP coast.
In a warning to Andhra Pradesh, the bulletin said thunderstorms with gusty winds were very likely to occur at isolated places in the state on June 5. Heavy rain is very likely at isolated places in north coastal AP and Rayalaseema. On June 6, thunderstorms are very likely in isolated places in the coastal districts. Heavy rain is very likely to occur in north coastal AP.
