Stone Laid for Culvert across Congress Canal

 Narsapur: MLA Bandaru Madhava Naidu laid the foundation stone to construct a culvert across Congress Canal on the outskirts of Rajullanka and Sarava villages in Narsapur mandal on Tuesday.

The farmers over the last two decades have been requesting the public representatives and leaders to construct a pipeline to Congress Canal. 

Their wish will become a reality soon.

The MLA, after laying the foundation, said that the farmers had requested him for a culvert construction across Congress canal recently when he toured the villages. 

The culvert which would be taken up at a cost of Rs 10 lakh could supply water to 100 acres, he added.

On his request, the Government sanctioned the culvert and funds also, he said.

Narsapur mandal president Vatadi Kanaka Raju, TDP BC Cell vice-president Rayudu Sriramulu, Sarpanch Mudunuri Marraju, MPTC member  Kadali Venkatalakshmi, Uddagiri Satyanarayana Raju, Gangiredla Venkateswarlu, Panchatiraj DE Narsarajju, Irrigation DE Venkata Ramana, Narsapur Tahsildar Suryanarayana Reddy participated in the programme.
