Speaking to the media at Dr Ramachandra Reddy Bhavan here on Tuesday, CPM leader said that the Chief Minister should change his attitude and focus on development of the State. He said both the TDP and the BJP had caused injustice to Andhra Pradesh. Both the parties failed to ensure development of the State and take up construction of capital Amaravati.

Madhu demanded that the Centre should immediately reduce the prices of petrol and diesel to bring down burden on common people. He pointed out that both the Centre and State have been collecting huge taxes on fuel from the public. Petrol and diesel prices are very low in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Telangana states when compared to Andhra Pradesh, Madhu pointed out.
