Andhra University Vice-Chancellor convenes review meet on academics

Visakhapatnam: Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University Prof G Nageswara Rao advised the authorities to finalise the temporary teaching arrangements and finalise the time tables in all the departments. He said that the repairs to the hostels and departments should be completed during the summer vacation.

The Vice-Chancellor convened a meeting to discuss various issues. During the meeting Nageswara Rao reviewed the teaching, research and academic issues relating to the academic year 2018-19. Regarding self-finance courses, the Vice-Chancellor asked the departments to review workload and make arrangements for teaching immediately.

He asked the departments to finalise the research vacancies immediately in view of Andhra Pradesh State-level  Research Common Entrance Test notification which would be issued soon. Prof K Gayathri Devi, Rector, Prof V Umamaheswara Rao, Registrar, Prof K Nirajna and Dean Academic Affairs, Prof K Rammohana Rao, were present.
