Zilla Parishad chief opens handicrafts exhibition

Chittoor: Zilla Parishad (ZP) Chairperson Girvani has inaugurated Kalabharathi Handicrafts and Handlooms Exhibition at TTD Kalyanamandapam here on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, the ZP chief said the TD government is committed for supporting handicraft artisans.

She assured organisers of taking initiative to convince the TTD officials for renting out the Kalyanamandapam for exhibitions and other events for concessional rates. The exhibition organiser R Prasada Rao said that they are supporting 100 artisans.
