God will decide my political entry: Ex-IPS officer

Vizianagaram: Former CBI joint director VV Lakshminarayana toured villages on second day in the district on Wednesday. He paid a visit to the house of writer and social reformer Gurajada Appa Rao here.

Later, he went to Pedapenki village in Balijipeta mandal and interacted with filariasis patients and enquired about their health and services they are being provided.

He visited T Burjavalasa village in Dattirajeru mandal and interacted with locals, participated in Sramadanam and cleaned the primary school there; participated in ‘Mukhamukhi’ at Seetharampuram in Gajapathinagaram mandal. He inaugurated library at Seetharampuram and participated in blood donation camp organised by Rotary Club. 

“I am not associated with any political party. Rumour mongers are spreading false stories stating that I am in touch with RSS, but they are completely baseless. I came to know farmers that they are not being paid good price for their produce. Hence, farmers interests should be protected and recommendations made by Swaminathan Commission should be implemented”, he said. 

“God will decide whether I will contest or not in the ensuing elections, but I will work for betterment of society. Villages are being destroyed due to liquor and other bad habits. Farmers should give up these habits for prosperity. The MGNREGS scheme should be linked with agriculture works for better results”, he said.
