Government to Act against Black Marketing of Seeds

Guntur: Special Commissioner of Agriculture Muralidhar Reddy informed that if any trader sells seeds in the black market, he will take stern action.

He urged the farmers to inform about excessive prices of chilli, cotton and vegetable seeds in the market. 

The farmers can pass on any such information on phone Nos 0863-2381123 and 0863-2381114.

He also suggested the farmers to be alert while purchasing seeds in the backdrop of beginning of kharif season. 

He requested the farmers to avail the facility provided by the government.
