AP Govt will take action against stone pelters

Guntur: Guntur MP Galla Jayadev said that the government will take action against those who were involved in the stone pelting incident at Old Guntur Police Station in Guntur city recently.  Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, he said that police arrested eight in connection with the case and registered cases against 61. He made it clear that police will not take action against innocent people.

He said that they will take action against those who pelted stones at Old Guntur Police Station. He called upon the people not to believe rumors stating that police will take action against many people in connection with the case and suggested to celebrate Ramzan with peacefully. Guntru Zilla Parishad Chairperson Janimun, TDP Guntur east constituency in-charge Maddali Giridhar were among those present at the press meet.
