Chandrababu Naidu striving for development of state, says Minister Lokesh
Madanapalli: At the time of bifurcation, AP was thrown out with Rs.16000 crores deficit, said Minister for Panchayat Raj Nara Lokesh. Addressing the public meeting in Madanapalli on Thursday, he said after working hard for 63 years for the development of Hyderabad, AP people were sent out without finance sources.
Still, the Chief Minister has been striving to see that people should not face any trouble. With his initiative only, state could implement unemployment dole, uninterrupted power supply, agricultural loan waivers, hike in pensions etc., he added,
With a cost of RS.4000 crore, the state achieved ODF and establishing waste management plants in a big way. A system of green ambassadors to collect garbage from every home is implemented. And many such schemes have been implemented in the state.
In Madanapalli and Punganur TDP did not win 2014 elections. Still we have been developing the segments in all aspects though the local MLAs never approached them with development plans, Lokesh said.
When CM has been working hard at the age of 68, instead of encouraging him , opposition parties were levelling graft charges on him, he averred. He challenged them to come out with concrete proofs. For Modi's script Amith Shah has been directing in which Jagan Mohan Reddy was a comic actor and YCP MPs have been playing character roles, he said.
