Chandrababu Naidu thanked for backing Arya Vysyas
Vijayawada: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was felicitated by Andhra Pradesh Film Development Corporation and Television (APFDC TV) Chairman Ambica Krishna and members of Arya Vysya community at Secretariat on Thursday.
Speaking to the media, Ambica Krishna said that the state government has sanctioned Rs 30 crore in the budget for the welfare of the community. He said that the government has further sanctioned Rs 30 crore for the uplift of backward people of the community. He said that there are 75 per cent backward people in the community and this amount would be helpful to them, he added.
He said that in 2019 elections 18 Assembly seats should be allocated to their community. He said that all the Arya Vysya community people will strive for achieving Special Category Status for the state. He said that the government should establish Mahatma Gandhi and Potti Sri Ramulu statues in Amaravati.
