National Accreditation Board member pays visit to RIMS
Srikakulam: National Accreditation Board member Dr Muktha visited RIMS Hospital here on Thursday and examined facilities at various wings. At present laboratories are not fully equipped at RIMS to conduct blood and other important tests. No case sheets are being maintained at RIMS regarding treatment of patients. Doctors are maintaining these sheets only on outpatient (OP) slips.
Actually, a detailed case sheet should be required for each patient as per norms and all details regarding treatment must be mentioned in the case sheet in detail. But at RIMS it is fully violated and patients often getting trouble while they were being referred to further treatment. Due to lack of clear case sheet and details, further treatment is becoming difficult and, in some cases, treatment is going wrong which is leading to problems.
She asked about average number of out and in patients getting services regularly from RIMS. As per rules, details of all in patients should be uploaded and can be verified online whenever needed.
