Distributing pensions at Panchayat office of Konthamuru as part of Nava Nirmana Deeksha on Thursday, he said that Naidu directed the officials to sanction any number of pensions to true beneficiaries and there was no funds crunch.

Any number of widow, disabled and old age pensions would be sanctioned in a family. The government was also constructing houses under various schemes for the people.

In rural constituency, many development works were executed including roads, drains, drinking water and lighting etc.

An amount of Rs 11 crore would be spent on the development works in the Constituency, he informed.

“There are no basic facilities in many layouts and government is trying to provide the facilities for the benefit of the people.

How the officials gave permission to the layouts without any facilities is a million dollar question. In spite of this, the government will provide all facilities,” he assured.

He asked the people to extend their cooperation to the officials to complete development works and advised them to avail the welfare schemes judiciously.

Later, he distributed old age pensions, widow pensions and disabled pensions to the beneficiaries.
