Online fraudster asks for Aadhar number, loots cash from account

 An online fraudster has duped a superviser working in KCP Sugar Factory of Vuyyur to a tune of Rs 20000. Though the amount is small, it creaed quite a sensation as this is the first online fraud in the region.

According to sources, an identified person called up superviser Y Prakash and told him that his Addhar Number has expired and said that he would renew it. Then  Prakash gave his Aadhar Number. 

Later, the caller said he would get a one time password and asked him to SMS it to him. Prakash did the same. Later, Prakash found that Rs 20000 were withdrawn from his account in two installments. He immediately lodged a complaint with the police. The police said the call came from Karnataka. Investigations are on.
