Visakhapatnam City will be tourist hub, says Ganta

Visakhapatnam: The city would be transformed into a best tourist hub with natural green cover from Coastal Battery to YMCA on the Beach Road, said HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao.

Speaking here on Thursday, Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that the TDP government is striving to make Visakhapatanam as the best tourist hub by setting up more hotels at tourist places and developing infrastructure to attract more foreign visitors to the city. As part of the beautification works and beach development programme, the margins between the road on the Beach Corridor would be developed with more greenery.

VUDA designer Srininvas made a PowerPoint presentation on beach development at VUDA office.  District Collector Pravin Kumar and VUDA Vice-Chairman Basasnth Kumar were also present on the occasion.
