Centre flayed for not allocating funds
Srikakulam: Congress divided the state unscientifically and BJP betrayed the people by not allocating funds for the development of the state, reminded Minister for Energy K Kala Venkat Rao.
Maha Sankalpam was conducted on a grand note here on Friday on the concluding day of Nava Nirmana Deeksha here on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, the minister explained that the state was tiding over from financial crisis for the past four years under the able leadership of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
The state is having natural resources and will achieve number one status in future by commitment, said Zilla Parishad Chairperson Ch Dhanalaxmi. The BJP government at the Centre is targeting the state and not allotting funds as a result development was affected, flayed MP K Rammohan Naidu.
The opposition in the state is not playing responsible role, lamented Srikakulam MLA G Laxmi Devi. Collector K Dhanunjaya Reddy, Joint Collector KVN Chakradhara Babu, additional joint collector P Rajani Katha Rao, district officials and TDP leaders attended. On the occasion, they administered pledge for the development of the state.
