AP Govt allocated 100 cr for MBC Corpn: Amaranatha Reddy

Chittoor:  In order to ensure the financial  assistance and  to  implement various  developmental  schemes  for  different back ward castes,  the Government has allocated  Rs.100 crore for  Most Backward Castes  Corporation,  according to Industries Minister NAmaranth Reddy.  Effective measures should  be mooted  for creating awareness among the earmarked castes  to avail the benefits  from MBC,  he said.

Participating as  a chief guest at  Dasari Reservation Porata Samiti  General Body meeting  held  at a private hotel  on Sunday,  the Minister explained  the Government’s  stand in promoting  the interests of various castes for  the prosperity of the state.  ``The TDP   established  Kapu Welfare Corporation,  Brahmin Welfare Corporation and  Most Backward Class  Welfare Corporation with the aim of developing all communities in a befitting manner. Chief Minister  NChandrababu Naidu has great vision  to protect  the interest of all sections of the society with various initiatives “  he said. 

The Minister felt that  there was an absolute need to change  the  out- dated  traditions of  Dasari community    by  putting an end for the  old and orthodox  cults  and rise to the expectations  of  modern society  for easing their lives . He assured  that  Government  would  sanction loans  to the beneficiaries  of  Dasari  community  under Adarana  2  scheme  for establishing  the small scale  industries . The Minister  reiterated  that  TDP Government has serious concern  for developing  the  BC communities through different  welfare schemes. 

State Secretary  Ravi,Dasari Reservation Porata  Samithi  demanded   the Government  to  ensure reservations  Dasari community on par with BCs. He said  that   the services  of the Dasari  community  were highly  useful  for the public  particularly  for the ladies community in the villages  . Chittoor  MLA  DA Satya Prabha,  Former TDP legislator  Lalitha Kumari and others  spoke.
