CPI’s Mass Representation Programme on June 18
Kakinada: The CPI state unit will observe June 18 as the day for mass submission of representations at the concerned MRO offices across the state demanding basic amenities.
Releasing posters here of this mass programme on Sunday, CPI East Godavari district unit secretary Tatiapaka Madhu said that representations would be given for house sites, houses, ration cards, water for irrigation, dirking water and other basic amenities.
The CPI leader reminded that before 2014 elections, the TDP had promised to provide houses and housing sites, agriculture lands to landless poor and other amentias at various Janma Bhoomi programmers. But after coming to power, the TDP government failed to implement any of these promises in the last four years.
As part of demand for provision of these basic amenities, the CPI would be organising mass submission of representations at all the MRO offices across the 13 districts in the state, he informed.
