Campaign on cleanliness held at RTC bus station

Ongole:  Activists of Viswa Manava Samkshema Sangham on Sunday displayed placards at the RTC bus station here highlighting the need to keep our surroundings neat and clean as part of Swachh Bharat awareness programme. 

Mastan Rao Pesala, founder of the organization, activists M Raghava Rani, P Nagendramma, Janardhana and Vasavi Club members Sankaramma and Ravi Kumar and RTC regional manager Adam Saheb and others took part in the campaign. 

Mastan Rao expressed concern over the continued open defaecation in spite of Swachch Bharat campaign. 

He suggested solving the problem from its root level. Mere sloganeering would not do, he felt. 

He advocated introduction of lessons on civic sense right from the elementary level.
