AP Govt keen on Uplift of Poor, says Minister Prattipati Pulla Rao

Guntur: Minister for Civil Supplies Prattipati Pulla Rao has said the government is committed to the welfare of the poor.
In spite of deficit budget, the government has been continuing welfare schemes, he claimed.
He distributed pensions, financial assistance under the Chief Minister Relief Fund, Dulhan scheme at a programme held at Nadendla in Guntur district on Tuesday.
Speaking on this occasion, he urged the eligibles to avail benefits of welfare schemes.
Though new pensions would be additional financial burden on the government, it is doing so to the poor.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is working hard for the development of the state, he added.
