Akula Venkata Ramana assumes charge as Kakinada City Congress president

​Kakinada: The newly-elected Kakinada city Congress president, Akula Venkata Ramana took charge on Monday.

At a programme organised at Kala Venkata Rao Congress Bhavan here, Ramanna assumed charge in the presence of former Union minister MM Pallam Raju and DCC president Pantam Nanaji.

Both Pallam Raju and Nanaji assured the newly-elected president to extend all the needed help in discharging his duties as city Congress president. Venkata Ramana thanked the party leaders and cadre for entrusting the responsibility of leading the party in the port city.
