Faculty training programme begins in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: To improve teaching skills and methodology, a two-day faculty training programme which began here on Tuesday would benefit the teaching staff, said SRK Institute of Technology principal Dr Ekambram Naidu.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that this programme would help the faculty to improve their professional and personal abilities in teaching.

National and international trainer A Mallesh was the resource person of the programme. He said all the faculty members should set a goal in their profession and strive to achieve it. 

He said by improving technical teaching methods by the faculty, they can bring out hidden creative qualities from the students.

The college chairman, BS Appa Rao said the faculty should organise programmes that would prepare the students to withstand any kind of situation in life apart for imparting subject knowledge. Faculty members from all departments of the college participated in the training programme.
