This initiative was intended to increase the strength of the students in the government schools. The private schools have already started admissions.

The Badi Bata programme will continue for one week from Tuesday. The government is supplying textbooks and free uniforms to the students.

They have introduced English medium in the MPP schools in addition to Telugu medium schools from this academic year.
