Janavignana Vedika to conduct anti-liquor meet on June 13

Vijayawada: With the raising liquor sales and increasing belt shops in Andhra Pradesh, Janavignana Vedika has announced that an all-party conference would be convened on June 13 in Vijayawada.

Addressing media conference at Press club on Monday, Jana Chaitanya Vedika state president V Lakshmana Reddy announced that they would organise a state-level convention on anti-liquor movement on June 13 at MBVK Bhavan, Vijayawada. He said the meet will be organised jointly by Janachaitanya Vedika and Vavilala organisation.  

He said that Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president N Raghuveera Reddy, YSR Congress Party leaders, CPM state secretary P Madhu, CPI state secretary K Ramakrishna, representatives of women associations would participate in the conference.

Krishna Delta Parirakshana Samithi convener Kolanukonda Sivaji, Jana Vignana Vedika state president Jampa Kishore, Janavignana vedika state general secretary B Suresh Kumar, S Baig and others were present.
