BJP alleges police repression

Vijayawada: MLC P Madhav and BJP Yuva Morcha State president Vishnuvardhana Reddy alleged that the State government was using police force to suppress activists of BJP. Speaking to media persons here on Tuesday, they said that emergency-like conditions were prevailing in the State.

The people would teach a fitting lesson to the Telugu Desam Party soon, they said. They also said that the leaders and workers of BJP would not be silent, if the Telugu Desam leaders continue to harass them. They said that the Telugu Desam was intentionally foisting false cases against the BJP workers.

The BJP leaders recalled that the Centre allotted nearly seven lakh houses to the State. They wondered as to how the TDP leaders were making false statements against the Centre in the name of non-cooperation.
